Iba-iba ang approach ng bawat tao sa para mag-survive, kaya expect mo nang ma-meet ang iba’t ibang personalities. Here’s a quick rundown ng 7 types of people na makakasalamuha mo sa end of the world—at baka isa ka rin sa kanila.

1. The Survivalist
Ito yung laging may dalang backpack full of tools at weapons. Kahit ‘yung ultimong inhaler from Thailand. Prepared siya lagi—parang si Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. Alam nila ang tricks sa paghahanap ng food at pagtayo ng shelter. Sanay sa hirap, and probably trusts no one.
2. The Healer
Siya yung medyo calm amidst the chaos, laging may dalang first-aid kit at ready tumulong kahit sobrang risky. Para siyang si Primrose Everdeen (dami kong reference sa Hunger Games sorry naman, ito kasi talaga ang pinakagusto kong YA dystopian story, stan lang) o si Claire sa Outlander (minus the time travel). Ang goal niya is to save as many people as possible, kahit na minsan ubos na rin yung resources niya.

Ito yung kahit na nagkapandemya, gagawa pa rin ng marketing strategy para lang kumita. Medyo selfish, pero resourceful, selfish nonetheless, pweh! Parang si Negan sa The Walking Dead o yung masakit sa bangs na si Yon-suk sa Train to Busan. They’re out for themselves, but minsan nakakatulong din naman—when it benefits them.
4. The Cynic
“Lahat tayo deds na bukas.” Eto yung mantra ng Cynic. They’re usually dark-humored and cynical pero weirdly nakakahanap ng way to survive. Parang si Dr. Robert ng I Am Legend or si Saul Goodman sa post-apocalyptic version of himself (kung meron man) from Better Call Saul. They’re not exactly helpful, pero hindi rin sila madaling mamatay.

5. The Leader
This is the person who takes charge, whether by choice or because everyone else is too scared to. Usually smart and strategic, gaya ni Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road (by the way, napanood niyo na ba yung prequel, pakagaling ni Anya-Taylor Joy as per usual). Parang may natural charisma, but minsan yung decisions nila hindi laging tama or mapapa-trust issues ka talaga.

6. The Scientist
Heto yung super focused sa paghanap ng cure, solusyon, o kahit ano pang purpose behind the apocalypse. They’re kinda obsessed, minsan bordering on weird, pero para sa kanila it’s the mission of their lives. Parang si Dr. Ellie Sattler sa Jurassic Park o Dr. Ishirō Serizawa sa Godzilla movies. Sila yung mga tipong nakaka-hope ng konti, kahit na minsan alanganin na yung mga ideas.
7. The Believer
Siya yung may pinapaniwalaan, at iniisip niya na we are destined to have this apocalypse or a test from the universe. Minsan cryptic, minsan comforting. Parang si Moira sa Handmaid’s Tale who see themselves as “the chosen one.” They’re deep, and sometimes they inspire the group to keep going… kahit minsan out-of-touch na rin.
