DWAN 1206 AM Shines Bright with Six Major Wins at the 8th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines Awards

Christmas came early for DWAN 1206 AM as it bagged not just one, not just two, but six awards in the recent 8^th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines for 2025 held at the Music Museum, Greenhills, San Juan City.

Station Manager and “Kalogan” and “Refoodlika na sa Pilipinas” host Marc Logan received the Seasoned Magazine Show Host.

“Harball”’s Bill Velasco secured the Iconic Sports Enthusiast award.

“Bawat Gising, May Blessing” and “Top Senate Stories” host and anchor Justinne Punsalang was recognized as one of the awardees in the 2^nd Philippine Pageantry Excellence Awards 2025 for her role as Ms. Summit International 2024 1^st runner up.

Meanwhile, DWAN 1206 AM, along with its weekday program “E.P.A.L (Eto Pala Ang Latest),” was recognized as Outstanding Teleradyo in the Philippines and Outstanding Lifestyle and Celebrity Talk Show, respectively, in the same category as Philippine Outstanding Brand of the Year.

And for the first time since its establishment in July 2024, D’ONE Magazine claimed its first award as Outstanding Online Network of the same category. The creative writers behind the magazine, namely Samantha Ramirez, Joe Malonzo, Alyianna Dantis, Carmellie Ocampo, Latrell Robles, and yours truly, beamed with pride at reaching this milestone.

The 8^th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines 2025 dubbed the first and biggest 5-in-1 awards night in Philippine History celebrated outstanding Filipinos in five categories: 8^th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines, Philippine Outstanding Brand of the Year, 2^nd Outstanding Youth of the Philippines, Philippine Philanthrophy Awards, and 2^nd Philippine Pageantry Excellence Awards.
