In line with its mandate to promote regulatory efficiency and enhance public service delivery, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) is spearheading a comprehensive lineup of activities, events, and initiatives in observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May 2025, with the theme “From Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas.”
These activities are strategically designed to foster stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors while reaffirming the national government’s steadfast commitment to advancing efficient, transparent, and accountable governance.
Pursuant to Proclamation No. 818, which officially designates the month of May as Ease of Doing Business Month, this nationwide observance serves as a platform to highlight key milestones in regulatory reform, innovations in public service delivery, and the advancement of digital transformation across government institutions.
It underscores the collective efforts of all sectors in building a more responsive and citizen-centered bureaucracy that supports business growth, economic resilience, and inclusive development.
Throughout the month, ARTA will be engaging a broad range of stakeholders—including national government agencies, local government units, government-owned and controlled corporations, state universities and colleges, the business community, and the public—through a series of activities.
All government offices, private institutions, and civil society organizations are strongly encouraged to actively participate in the scheduled events, particularly those activities that directly relate to their respective mandates, advocacies, or sectors. Through this shared engagement, ARTA aims to promote a unified movement toward reducing bureaucratic red tape, enhancing ease of doing business, and ultimately improving the quality of life for every Filipino.
