Kenangan Coffee, Indonesia’s popular coffee brand with a presence in over 950 locations worldwide, has officially launched its first Philippine branch at SM Mall of Asia in Manila. The local launch is facilitated through a partnership with the Fredley Group of Companies (FGC), a leader in the Philippine food and beverage industry known for bringing high-quality international brands to local audiences. This partnership reflects FGC’s commitment to catering to Filipino preferences and introducing new, innovative flavors.

Kenangan Coffee is celebrated for its signature drinks, particularly the Kenangan Latte, which features locally sourced beans and black aren (palm sugar), offering a unique, creamy, and smoky taste. In addition to the Kenangan Latte, Filipino customers will enjoy a range of crafted beverages and freshly baked pastries.

Although many of its locations are designed for quick service, Kenangan Coffee plans to establish flagship stores that will deliver a full café experience. Upcoming branches are expected to open in various SM locations across Metro Manila and beyond, including SM East Ortigas, SM Megamall, SM Bicutan, SM Baguio, and SM North EDSA.

Avin Ong, CEO of Fredley Group of Companies, shared his excitement about the partnership, stating that Kenangan Coffee’s unique flavors will resonate with Filipino coffee enthusiasts. Edward Tirtanata, CEO and co-founder of Kenangan Coffee, echoed this enthusiasm, expressing confidence that the brand’s distinct offerings will be well-received in the Philippines.

Kenangan Coffee officially opens its first Philippine store on November 12, with additional locations planned soon. -AL/VC
