Inilabas na ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang listahan ng 146 payout sites sa 121 lungsod sa bansa kung saan isasagawa ang pamamahagi ng cash relief assistance (CRA) sa mga tricycle driver sa labas ng National Capital Region (NCR) simula bukas, Abril 8.
Ito ay sa pakikipagtulungan ng DSWD sa mga local government units (LGUs) alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., na agarang bigyan ng tulong ang sektor ng transportasyon na lubhang apektado ng pagtaas ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo.
“Gaya po ng pangako ng kalihim ng DSWD, Secretary Rex Gatchalian, at alinsunod sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., magsisimula na ang Departamento na mamahagi ng cash assistance sa mga tricycle drivers sa labas ng Metro Manila,” ayon kay DSWD spokesperson at Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao.
Tinatayang aabot sa mahigit 328,000 benepisyaryo ang inaasahang makakatanggap ng P5,000 cash aid sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program.
