The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will convene the Charity Summit 2025 on September 5, 2025, at the Manila Hotel’s Centennial Hall, with the theme “Serving More Through Greater Collaboration.”

The event will gather 200 participants, including national government leaders, local executives, partner institutions, and beneficiaries, to strengthen cooperation and enhance the reach of PCSO’s humanitarian programs.

The program will open with a welcome message from the PCSO Board of Directors, followed by the keynote address of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary for Operations Group, Monina Josefina Romualdez.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles will deliver the General Manager’s Report on the agency’s accomplishments, highlighting the progress and impact of PCSO’s various charity programs.

This will be followed by a Message of Support from San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, President of the League of Cities of the Philippines. Ryan Joseph A. Sarte, Director II of the Presidential Action Center, will then present updates on the PACE Programs.

The summit will also feature discussions on important updates such as PhilHealth Benefit Packages to be presented by AVP Rey T. Valera of PhilHealth, and the DSWD Accreditation Process to be explained by Anna Marla Alexa S. Ledda, Division Chief of the Standards and Accreditation Bureau.

The Philippine Red Cross, represented by Angelito V. Delos Santos will likewise share insights on charity work and humanitarian aid.

Other major highlights include open forums, exhibits of PCSO programs, networking opportunities, and the symbolic “Handprints on the Commitment Wall,” where participants will pledge their continued dedication to public service and humanitarian work.

By uniting partners on one platform, PCSO underscores its mission to expand collaboration and ensure that more communities nationwide benefit from meaningful and sustainable charity programs. [PR]
