Sinertipikahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. bilang “urgent” ang House Bill (HB) No. 10800 o ang General Appropriations Bill (GAB) na naglalaman ng panukalang 2025 national budget nitong Martes, Setyembre 24.
Sa liham na ipinadala ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa House of Representatives, binigyang-diin nito ang kahalagahan ng agarang pagsasabatas ng badyet.
“Pursuant to the provisions of Article VI, Section 26 (2) of the 1987 Constitution, I hereby certify to the necessity of the immediate enactment of House Bill No. 10800,” saad ng Pangulo sa liham.
“To ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical government functions, guarantee the allocation of fiscal resources for vital initiatives, and enable the government to adeptly respond to emerging challenges,” dagdag nito.
Dahil dito, mamadaliin ng Kamara ang pagtalakay sa HB No. 10800 sa ikalawa at ikatlong pagbasa sa parehong araw. -VC
