President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ushers in 2025 by fervently calling on his countrymen to become ‘Bagong Pilipino’ as part of their New Year’s resolution.
“Una, ang Bagong Pilipino ay disiplinado. Pangalawa, ang Bagong Pilipino ay pinapahalagahan ang kultura ng kahusayan at kagalingan. At pangatlo, ang Bagong Pilipino ay mapagmahal sa bayan. Kaya sa New Year’s resolution natin, mas mamahalin pa natin ang ating bansang Pilipinas,” the President says in his latest vlog posted in the Bongbong Marcos Facebook page.
He cites small and concrete ways that every Filipino can easily do in every aspect of their daily lives that can contribute significantly to the transformation of Philippine society and ultimately attain the Bagong Pilipino qualities of discipline, excellence, renewed sense of patriotism and love for country.
“Dahil walang Bagong Pilipinas, kung walang Bagong Pilipino,” President Marcos Jr. emphasizes in his vlog.
Heeding the President’s call, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) and the Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang (PBS-RTVM) launched the Bagong Pilipino Podcast hosted by Paolo Bediones, Isabelle Daza, Boss Toyo and Alex Calleja.
